Welp this is it.
As of the 4th of May 2024 123Guestbook will be shutting down on
the 1st of July 2024.[1] I don't really have much
in the way of words. I wish the team good luck on future projects, and I hope we can discuss possible
replacements.

Three alternative guest books have been deemed worthy to replace 123Guestbook. Firstly ULTRAGUEST which many have already changed to provides a similar layout but with the added bonus of a flag for the users location.[2] Second is Smart Guestbook who provide a wide variety of styles and customisation options.[3] Last but not least is the upcoming guestbook service being developed by dimden here on Neocities![4] As this is being built to directly replace 123Guestbook this one I am most hopeful for and will wait for its release before making a decision.

This it, it is here. dimden has released Atabook.[5] And it is amazing
providing most major features on release and Guestbook header images. I will be changing over to it shortly
but it might take a moment to manually port all of the comments.
Here to a bright Atabook future.
